CFNR Library
The College of Forestry and Natural Resources Library is one of the unit libraries in the University of the Philippines Los Baños campus. Its collection is centered mostly on forestry and related disciplines. The Library has different service sections to cater to the needs of the constituents of the College comprising students, faculty, and research staff as well as other readers and researchers.
The library provides relevant information sources on forestry and natural resources to support the College’s major function which is the development of instruction, research, and extension programs.
Library and information services were made possible by its competitive staff consisting of 11 staff, one College Librarian III, six College Librarian I, one Administrative Aide III and two Individual Contract Service and one Utility Worker (thru Agency). The Library collections continue to grow to serve the needs of current students, faculty, and visiting scholars.
Vision
The College Library’s mission is to contribute to the goals of the College which pertain to the development of the College major and three-fold functions which are the development of instruction, research, and extension programs.
Mission
The College Library is envisioned to be an information center on forestry and natural resources fully equipped with new and modern library technologies to be able to strengthen and facilitate the development of better and efficient services to library users.
