UPLB is the top-performing school in forestry

With a 97.50% passing rate in the October 2023 Forester Licensure Examination, the College of Forestry and Natural Resources (CFNR) once again made UPLB the top-performing school in forestry all over the country.

Out of 80 graduates of BS Forestry from CFNR, 78, or 97.50%, passed the licensure examination. Three of them landed in the top ten.

These are Ethel Roe Yasto Ramirez, who ranked second with a rating of 91.8%; Christine Jane Mamauag Natividad, who ranked sixth with a rating of 90.20%; and Mitsui Chen Sen Angeles Yu, who ranked eighth with a rating of 90.10%.

The FLE was held on Oct 17-18 in testing centers at NCR and in Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga. (Louise Chris Marian C. Dalag and Aileen S. Peria)
