Search for the next CFNR Dean is on

The search for the next dean of the UPLB-CFNR is now on as the second term of Dean Marlo D. Mendoza ends in April 2024.

The search process proceeded with the reporting of CFNR accomplishments from March 2021 to February 2024 by incumbent Dean Mendoza and the presentation of the nominees’ vision, plans, and programs. Dr. Rogelio T. Andrada, II, a faculty from the Institute of Renewable Natural Resources is also a nominee for the position. The event, held in the afternoon of 15 February 2024 at the Nicolas P. Lansigan Auditorium, was also streamed live on the CFNR Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/UPLBCFNR/videos/1561915871266690. A part of the search process is the consultation with CFNR constituents, including its administrative staff, research and extension personnel, faculty members, students, and alumni.

The Search Committee for the Next Dean of the College of Forestry and Natural Resources (CFNR), pursuant to the OC Administrative Order No. 048 Series of 2024, is facilitating the search process. Prof. Agham C. Cuevas, vice chancellor for academic affairs, chairs the search committee. The other committee members consist of Prof. Abraham Rey M. Acosta, Asst. Prof. Arlene C. Gutierrez, Ms. Virma Rea G. Lee, Ms. Marites Q. Lantican, Ms. BG Yvonne C. Sabellano, and Ms. Andre Cecil A. Lopez. (Louie D. Amongo)
